Requirements modelling using UML helps you define what the system should do and why?

This course is targetted at novice users (subject matter experts who are transitioning to Business Analysis roles) and the seasoned user, (those using older structured design methodologies), who want to learn the latest UML 2.1 tools in creating user requirements.

It provides a better understanding of the system requirements and a proven means to gather requirements that satisfy you business and software development.

  • System development lifecycle overview (e.g. Waterfall, iterative, RUP)
  • An object orientation concept overview (CRC cards)

UML Tools:

  • UML behavioural diagrams relevant to the Business Context and System Requirements process (eg. activity diagrams, use cases and state diagrams)
  • Packages and classes: the "things" and their relationships that define the business domain

Business Context:
